Our client is a full service design, fabrication & management firm specializing in museum, architecture, interiors, trade show exhibits & events. They listen, imagine, create, and deliver effective solutions to provide a client centric approach. They are seeking a full time Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring quality standards are met by coordinating with internal teams and providing an exceptional experience and end product via high level customer service practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Orchestrate all project aspects from beginning to end ensuring all details are communicated to the team
- Lead meetings with Design, Engineering, Production and Account Executives/ Account Managers to review project needs and client expectations
- Establish and create show schedule and production timelines
- Analyze rates, create pricing and provide data/details to create Exhibitor Services Manual
- Schedule and conduct various meetings to develop a collaborative team and cultivate internal communication processes
- Guide and manage Draftsman to create detail drawings and communicate as needed with AccountExecutive/ Account Manager to achieve an approved final production drawing set
- Order and supervise the 3rd party contracted project elements
- Order and manage custom finishes/details
- Communicate with and provide support to production throughout the project
- Communicate and facilitate collaborative efforts with all departments including drafting, production, graphics and finishing
- Continually monitor job progress to identifying aspects of a project
- Provide the plan for exhibit installation based in a clear orderly process
- Oversee the organization and arrangement of the transportation and installation needs for installed projects
- Coordinate with the Account Management team regarding show service orders and information
- Lead Post-Project meetings to analyze and improve internal processes for future projects
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of client inventories
- Maintenance of all active Job Files
- Manage Cost and Budget
- Assist in Invoicing review process
- Attend site inspections and the show
- Collaborate with the exhibitor services team regarding exhibitor needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Trade and/or Business Certification training
- 4+ years experience of project management or drafting
- Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite or similar program knowledge/experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand designs and blueprints
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent responsiveness and ability to prioritize
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Location: Chicago
Salary: $75K-$85K
