RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead projects from design handoff to delivery
  • Assist in project kick of meetings in conjunction
  • Review all timelines and project plans; communicate action items to all stakeholders and monitor adherence to deadlines
  • Take responsibility that client deliverables & deadlines are met
  • Negotiate & coordinate with third party resources for fabrication related items
  • Create and maintain project files
  • Manage resources; identify, negotiate and book external resources as needed
  • Overall management of information to internal production departments as needed through kick-off and status meetings
  • Project invoicing
  • Create client fabrication budgets for programs as assigned
  • Work with Account Managers on new builds, large activations or specialty project budget
  • Review internal budgets for new clients/ RFPs (new builds)
  • Create, maintain, reconcile & project budgets
  • Provide timely & accurate financial information to finance team
  • Translate 3D renderings into construction methodologies
  • Review, manage and approve CAD drawings to ensure designs and budgets are inline for production
  • Provide finish callouts as required
  • Manage construction set up drawing process and labeling for et up packages
  • Partner with the shop lead to ensure all client needs are met

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years project management experience in the exhibit/events industry
  • Construction background with knowledge of construction drawings, materials and supplies, field measurements and estimating skills
  • Strong Mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated Project Management competencies: client focus, developing others, accountability for results, attention to detail, flexibility and team effectiveness
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to read/review AutoCAD drawings
  • Outstanding organizational ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Location: Chicago
Salary: $65K-$75K
