Our Dallas client specializes in general contractor services, custom exhibits and live events. They are seeking an experienced Exhibit / General Service Contractor Designer that can cross-function between 3D and 2D arenas.

The ideal candidate is very passionate about design, a creative and out of the box thinker, dedicated to learning and evolving creatively, enjoys collaboration with colleagues and clients. To be considered for this position you need to reliable in managing priorities and commitments as they relate to the responsibility of the development and direction of creative design deliverables for assigned projects. The successful candidate, along with other team members, will help in developing concepts, implementing design strategies and producing interactive and brand-design solutions. To be successful in this role you must be able to balance creative thinking, multi-tasking and client expectations while drawing upon your interpersonal skills and experiences to develop concepts into functional design deliverables.


  • Engagement in the design process from inception through execution
  • Produce final renderings, graphic design and art direction as well as production ready graphic design when necessary
  • Interpret client needs and find creative solutions
  • Attend kickoff meetings with Production Purchasing Managers, Project Managers, Account Executives, and the creative team to discuss course of action to meet clients’ needs
  • Staying abreast of business issues, cultural events and trends that affect the clients’ audiences
  • Develop concepts, implement design strategies and produce interactive and brand-design oriented solutions
  • Compile research, inspiration and finished designs into a design document for presentation
  • Create experience driven design executed in both 2D and 3D
  • Meet commitments and demonstrate time management skills


  • BFA/BS in Graphic Design/Industrial design/Architecture or relevant work experience in a related design discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in environment design or related field
  • Strong 3D and 2D Portfolio illustrating diversity and creativity
  • Highly experienced in Adobe CS Suite, 3D Studio Max, and 3D software for modeling, texturing and rendering
  • Working knowledge in both 2D and 3D disciplines is a plus
  • Knowledge of systems based exhibit design (AGAM, Octonorm, BMatrix, etc) preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skill

Salary: $60K-$70K
