Our client is a leader in marketing solutions creating meaningful solutions by offering clients a unique blend of branding solutions that include trade shows, events and activations. Due to organizational growth they are seeking a seasoned Senior Sales & Operations Manager to drive sales, as well as oversee all functions of sales operations and production. This individual will be responsible for achieving quarterly/annual sales goals, building strategic business relationships, and providing vision for all sales strategies and their execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement company mission and strategic plan as dictated by corporate policies, procedures and goals
  • Set business objectives and measuring results based on well defined, measurable agreed-upon goals
  • Assist in the development and execution of general programs, procedures, and methodologies to facilitate effective office and production operations.
  • Secure new business by partnering with client through a strategic and consultative approach thereby delivering value-adding business solutions
  • Develop strategic plans to advance company revenue production and market presence
  • Build and strengthen executive level client relationships, understand their business, conceive, develop and implement programs that build client brand and provide a foundation to drive client business growth
  • Leverage relations with existing clients identifying opportunities to add client value, expand and/or renew relationships
  • Provide insights and recommendations on new business development, client service, policies, procedures, staffing and other initiatives that promote the company’s vision
  • Partner with finance and executive leadership on all client contracts, rate negotiations and renewals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on brand positioning and development of sales and capabilities materials
  • Identify new business opportunities, draft proposals and participate in pitches
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape identifying opportunities for expansion, new clients, new industry developments and standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration or in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years business development experience within the exhibit or event industry
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record for budget management including forecasting
  • Expertise in the field of strategic and experiential marketing, environment builds and trade shows
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven work environment
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to sell, lead, motivate and direct marketing operations
  • Adept at building relationships (internal & external) and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other’s ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others
  • Proven ability to maintain composure against obstacles; solving problems with strong insight
