Sales Director, Exhibits, Dallas




Our client is a recognized leader in the exhibit and event marketing industry. This organization encompasses the tenets of integrity and excellence. Due to growth within their Custom Exhibit Division they are seeking a Sales Director to manage the sales and account services activities from from their Dallas office.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Nurture the growth of existing client base - at all revenue levels
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals including driving the initial creation of yearly sales forecasts by Account Executives, maintaining YTD forecast, and providing monthly updates by AE's to executive leadership
  • Participate in the preparation of sales, business development, and account specific opportunity plans
  • Provide strategic sales support through: sales targeting, qualification support, situation analysis template, and innovation (identify and share opportunities for innovation, trend spotting, inspiration, etc.)
  • Represent company at trade association meetings
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Account Executives
  • Meet with key clients, assisting Account Executives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Supervise employees in the Sales & Marketing Department
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems

 

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s Degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM systems and online data management tools

Location: Dallas

Salary: $120K + DOE
