CAD Designer, Exhibits, Philadelphia

Our Philadelphia client creates dynamic, state-of-the-art trade show exhibits and displays. Their capabilities include environmental design for trade shows, meetings and events. Their ability to integrate their clients' marketing messages into the overall concept is what sets them apart. They are seeking an Exhibit Designer who can jump in on creative projects in a fast paced work environment to deliver brand enhancing design solutions.



  • Engagement in the design process from initial input through design development and final renderings
  • Participate in client meetings and site inspections
  • Understanding the clients’ business, staying abreast go business issues, cultural events and trends that affect the clients’ audiences
  • Work directly with clients to develop designs that fuse environmental aesthetic, experiential marketing and brand recognition into seamless solutions
  • Collaborating with internal team members for concept development
  • Develop plans, elevations and construction details that illustrate the design intent and use of materials using AutoCAD
  • Create 3D renderings of corporate interior spaces and other 3D environments (FormZ preferred)
  • Research the latest industry trends, materials and building processes
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Ensure high quality standards in all creative design deliverables
  • Prepare furniture and finish recommendations
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously



  • Minimum 3-5 years experience
  • CAD background in Building, Detailing, Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design
  • Ability to immerse oneself in clients’ brand, culture, products, and marketing objectives
  • Develop design visuals of your concepts via 3D modeling, concept sketching, floor plan/space development, presentation layouts, and control drawings
  • 3D rendering software experience is a must. (Preferred software proficiency: FormZ, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up)
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Clearly and professionally present ideas to internal teams and clients
  • Share design information with internal production and support teams
  • Demonstrate solid design sense and flexibility
  • Operate effectively under time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Have a working knowledge of materials, technologies, construction techniques and event production
  • Provide concepts that are within budget
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Location: Philadelphia

Salary: $60K-$80K DOE
