Sales Director, Exhibits, Southeast




Our client offers branding and marketing strategies including solutions, trade show exhibits, convention management services, corporate interiors, and events. Their mission is to create experiences that communicate impactful branding messages.

If you have a strong sales and sales management background and are currently developing and closing new business opportunities within the within the exhibit industry our client would be interested in speaking with you. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry specific success record and sales team management experience.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote company services
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Offer solutions that give clients the competitive edge
  • Achieve and/or exceed sales quotas
  • Ensure all client solutions are delivered on time and on budget
  • Write and maintain account plans for each client ensuring their communication objectives are met
  • Research and develop target sales markets
  • Regularly update clients, project support team and management
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales messages, proposals and presentations
  • Work with executive leadership teams to develop long-range sales strategies and goals
  • Leverage internal/external resources to build new client relationships
  • Nurture and foster growth within existing client relationships
  • Provide detailed reports including specific ROI metrics
  • Prepare quarterly and annual budget forecasts reviewing and adjusting as needed
  • Work with accounting to generate project invoicing
  • Attend events, shows, and be present for new projects

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10 years minimum experience in the event marketing and/or trade show Industry
  • 5+ years sales leadership/management experience including multi-location management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related subject
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-displline, strong organizational time management skills
  • Manage and mentor sales team members
  • Manage leads, accounts, contacts, opportunity pipeline and activities
  • Plan and manage strategically and operationally
  • Strong understanding of financial projection principles
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environments

Location: Orlando

Salary: $100K -$130K + Bonuses/Incentives
