Account Executive, Exhibits, Detroit

This client is a full-service trade show exhibit, branded environments and event marketing firm specializing in custom and rental displays. They offer creative solutions encompassing all aspects of their client's exhibiting needs. They have an immediate need for an industry experienced Account Executive with great track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.



  • Pursue leads,prospect potential clients
  • Maintain and build client relationships
  • Identify selling opportunities
  • Manage client communication
  • Develop sales pitches, capabilities presentations, strategic and written proposals
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, and prepare and execute detailed contracts, agreements
  • Work effectively with members of internal and external Account and Production teams
  • Prepare sales forecasts and other reports as required
  • Represent the company as a leading solutions provider
  • Take an active role in industry associations



  • 3+ years proven sales experience in the trade exhibit industry
  • Demonstrated capability at new customer acquisition and client retention/growth
  • Ability to conceptualize and create opportunities for growth
  • Ability to effectively build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Skill in handling a high volume of market research, cold calling, appointment setting, strategic networking and closing of accounts to achieve revenue goals
  • Microsoft Office skills to successfully perform the selling, planning, and reporting responsibilities of the position


Location: Detroit

Salary: Base + Commission (DOE)
