Assistant General Manager, Exhibits, Las Vegas

Regardless of the venue -- corporate meeting, gala, or trade show, the product line is designed ensure that guests leave with a lasting impression.

Our client is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager for their Las Vegas Division. The ideal fit will have a strong warehouse operations background, have experience working with a sales team, and have a strong financial aptitude including an understanding of P & L.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Product order management
  • After sales service efforts to include product delivery schedules
  • Oversee preparation of periodic reports as required
  • Remain current on market trends with competitors, suppliers
  • Responsible for the quality of service for all trade shows and events
  • Contribute to the daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process
  • Maintain good companywide working relationships
  • ¬†Recruiting, selecting and training employees¬†
  • Ensure that all operational expenses are controlled and managed
  • Adhering to company safety operations procedures
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Coordinate asset management and maintenance
  • Purchase moving equipment
  • Responsible for warehouse and inventory management
  • Facilitate and coordinate communications with internal departments
  • Call on potential clients to solicit new business
  • Answer inquiries about solutions offered, rates, and schedules
  • Investigate customer complaints and make adjustments

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum five years successful operations management experience with responsibility for multiple departments
  • Management experience in a trade show environment preferred
  • Ability to manage with minimum direction from the corporate office
  • Leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills and a strong sense of customer service
  • Bilinugal proficiency a plus
  • Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Order processing, Database software

Location: Las Vegas

Salary: $85K + Bonus
